Pierce Hodges, founder of CONTOCOM, is a graduate student at Columbia University, pursuing a Master’s in Enterprise Risk Management and recognized as a 2024 Columbia HBCU Fellow. He currently works as a Graduate Risk Analyst at Amalgamated Bank, supporting the Chief Risk Officer on risk governance and regulatory initiatives.
Previously, he served as a Graduate Compliance Intern at the NYC Comptroller’s Office, contributing to the oversight of the $276 billion pension fund. Pierce earned his B.S. in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, from Howard University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate in Biomedical Sciences at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his work in finance, Pierce has contributed to the development of major health equity initiatives—including a $5 million stroke center at Jefferson Health.
