Pierce Hodges, a 2023 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Howard University with a major in Honors Biology, is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management as an IMPACT HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. He is the Founder of CONTOCOM Consultancy. He recently completed a Post-baccalaureate in Biomedical Sciences at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, New York. Pierce held various leadership positions at Howard University, including Freshman Council President and Executive Vice President in the College of Arts & Sciences. He is the Founder of the Cheryl Irving Student Diversity Conference and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Incorporated. He was recently appointed Chair of the Harlem Wellness Center Jr Board of Directors.
During his undergraduate years, Pierce conducted microbiology research at Howard University Medical School and later shifted his focus to addressing health disparities in underprivileged communities, particularly in cardiothoracic health. He has spent the past four years with Jefferson Health and Temple University, collaborating on the Frazier Family Coalition for Stroke Education and Prevention, an initiative of former Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier. Pierce also completed a Fellowship year in the Department of Real Estate and Development at Jefferson, where he studied hospital acquisition, finance, and innovation. He aspires to pursue a career that blends finance, risk management, and strategy.
